RP Gupta Dental clinic organized a three-day dental implant workshop in which about 20 delegates from all over the country took part. Dr Ebner Luis De, consultant and reviewer of the Brazilian Journal of Surgery, Implant and Prosthesis, from Brazil was the chief guest.

A hand on course on dental implants and live surgery of placing dental implants was conducted at Dr Gupta Dental and Orthodontic Centre and a total of five implants were completed in Dr R.P Gupta Dental Clinic.

The dentists explained that previously a tooth could be either filled or extracted. Later, crowns became more widely available. But now dental implant has emerged as a very viable alternative to many restorative procedures. The workshop was well appreciated.
